So that's it! The last of the bulbs and plants in the ground for this season! Really, I would normally finish in November, but I was busy and I'm lucky this year is super warm this late. Total bulbs - 2,400 - but that includes the really little ones too. At least the back porch is empty - for now... This year I got a fair number of evergreens planted too. I'm seeing what works best, so I mixed it up with various hollies and boxwoods. Some are in containers, some planted, some on "stand-by" to fill in if needed. I really needed the fourth season of interest to be spread throughout the garden and not just up against the house where the 85+ year old English boxwoods reign supreme. We'll see how the newbies perform in the coming year.
