Frederick 5K!

Again this year, Todd starting his morning by running the Winchester Apple Blossom 10K and finishes his evening running the Frederick 5K! See Todd in the blue shorts? (front and center) Just "a little warm-up" before tomorrow's Frederick Marathon!

Toddy's 250th Marathon!!

Today Toddy ran his 250th Marathon in Frederick, Maryland! As you can see, he ran barefoot!

I made a little sign (on the right) for Toddy to wear to let other runners to know today is a special event! The race organizers even gave Toddy the number "250" to wear for his special day!

It poured rain for most of the day -- but Toddy did Great, pacing in a group of half-marathon runners and finishing his full marathon in 4:47:48. See his exciting finish below!


As a founding member of "Team Toddy", it is always terrific fun for me to cheer on all the runners from the sidelines!

Toddy Warms Up!

After Toddy ran the Apple Blossom 10K in Winchester, Virginia this morning; we drove to Frederick, Maryland to continue Toddy's marathon "warm up" with a 5K in Frederick, Maryland! When Toddy approached the Finish Line, I was surprised to see another Barefoot Runner in the race!



Before we left, I decorated my car in Toddy's honor.

Toddy Arrives for His 250th Marathon!

Toddy arrived early this morning to stay a while at Highspire and run his 250th Marathon in Frederick, Maryland this coming Sunday! I get to go cheer him on!

Toddy Runs His 241st Marathon!

Toddy ran the Marine Corps Marathon today in Washington DC. It was a sunny, beautiful day in the mid-70s.

Toddy had lots of support along the way -- Jack Quarantillo and his dog, Winnie, came to DC and cheered Todd at Mile 25.













Toddy spotted me with my big yellow sign at Mile 25.5.

Toddy Arrives for the Marine Corps Marathon!

Tonight Toddy arrived to run his 241st Marathon in Washington DC! Until race day, he will be helping me around the house, stuffing toy treat bags and setting up the outside lights in preparation for Trick-Or-Treat!

Todd Runs the Frederick Marathon!

Todd ran the Frederick Marathon today! There was a lot of press coverage from both television and print -- not only because it is Toddy's 235th Marathon, but also because Toddy ran the marathon without shoes! Here are some of my favorite photos from the Frederick Marathon!

Todd Runs in Winchester and Frederick!

Todd started his Running Weekend this morning in Winchester, Virginia with the Apple Blossom SunTrust 10K.

Returning to Berkeley Springs, Todd helped me take my Yorkies to boarding before we left for Frederick, MD.

Toddy finished up his day with the Twilight 5K in Frederick, MD, part of the Frederick Running Festival! Before the Twilight 5K, Todd discusses running with Graham, a cameraman from WHAG-TV 25 (Hagerstown MD), who is shooting video of Todd this weekend.

Marathon Day

Today Todd ran the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC. He has run around 230 marathons in the last 21 years. Its always exciting to go cheer Toddy on along the course!
