Our First Big Snow! OK -- its less than one foot, but enough to cover the ground and cancel school. Finally some protection for my flower beds, and a chance to take some first rate snow pics. Things are very friendly here at Highspire, with all the critters gathered inside in the warmth and enjoying the view out of the window. Last night before the snow I filled all the bird feeders so now the kitties are enjoying "Kitty TV" out the window. The Yorkies could care less and are sleeping peacefully in the kitchen. Now that the shoveling is finished, I'm off to work for a few hours and I'll be back later. This evening I'm planting up the first half of my light boxes to get a jump on Spring.
