Animal Transport - Roanoke VA to Hagerstown MD

I drove 13 dogs on the transport today from Roanoke VA to Hagerstown MD. Two of the pooches were special needs Seniors who are headed to Rescue in New Jersey. On the left is "Velvet", the one-eyed, blind Cocker Spaniel, who I pulled earlier in the week from the Hampshire County (WV) Animal Control. Over the last several days, Velvet quickly worked her way into my heart and I was happy to help her on her way to a Rescue just for Seniors where she will be truly appreciated.

On the right is "Lady", a 12 year old Peke mix, who came to the transport from a kill shelter in Summersville, WV. Lady is a tender sweetheart, loves a gentle voice, and is very happy to go on car rides Anywhere! Lady and Velvet are headed to the same Seniors rescue in New Jersey.

Raeleen and her 10 puppies completed my passenger list for this transport. Raeleen (on the left) is a young Black Lab mother -- and her puppies are beautiful! They are only 3 weeks old and just opened their eyes. Raeleen and her puppies came from a kill shelter in Arkansas and have been accepted into Rescue in New Hampshire.
