Animal Transport - Strasburg VA to Hagerstown MD

Mom and her 3 five week-old puppies were pulled just in time on Friday from a kill shelter in Mississippi and have been accepted into Rescue in New York State! I drove Mom and her puppies from Strasburg VA to Hagerstown MD this afternoon. Mom, pictured with me below, is a Cairn Terrier mix and her puppies were just precious! I have Mom all wrapped up in my arms to block the 45+mph winds! The puppies stayed warm and snuggly in the vehicles during transfers.

The brutal winds and bitter wind chill (-5 to -15 degrees F) almost stopped this transport in its tracks several times, but the volunteer drivers got Mom and her puppies to NYS safe and sound!
